What is PET
PET, to us, is perfect packaging: it has the aesthetics and clarity of glass, the convenience and lightness of cartons, and the strength and safety of cans.
PET is in a league, all its own. It has created a new wave in packaging and has ended the long search for the alternative to PVC (for clarity) and a substitute for HDPE (for flexibility). Less material usage is one of the biggest reasons for using PET. It is only 10% of the weight of glass and is about 30 to 40% lighter than PVC. The operation is fully automatic, high speed, designed for multiple cavities and generates no scraps.
