Forsspac is a leading construction industry Engineering and Architectural services provider.
Our principal interests are in:
Forsspac is the industry leader in MEPF design thinking. We are the only company that can take a project from client concept through MEPF design to IFC and then oversee the construction process as the client employed Testing and Commissioning Management service provider.
This end to end approach is unique in our industry.
Forsspac is rapidly expanding its international client base through offices in Australia, USA, UK, Malaysia, Hong Kong, New Zealand.
History
In 1988, Forssman Ltd. was established in Hong Kong and over the next 8 years were involved in a wide range of commercial and infrastructure projects. With its head office in Hong Kong during this time, Engineering and CAD production for these projects was moved to the Philippines.
In 1996, Forssman relocated its head office to the Philippines, establishing Forssman Pacific Corporation (located in the Central Business District of Makati City, Metro Manila), and since then has continued to expand its operations globally.
In 2005 Forssman (Macau) Limitada was established to service the developing hotel and casino market in Macau.
In 2009 Forssman International Limited was established in Hong Kong to service the International market.
In 2010 Forssman Pacific was renamed AEight Pacific Corporation trading as Forsspac to retain its former identity but to signify the transition to a full service MEPF company.

In 2013 Forssman International Limited was renamed AEight Limited trading as Forsspac.
In 2014 Forsspac opened our first office in Australia to explore the opportunities for both outsourced and insourced project work.
In 2016 Forsspac expanded its operations into a new office located on the 3rd floor of Prince Building, 117 Rada Street Legaspi Village, Makati City now occupied by our support services group including sales & marketing with production focused on the 2nd floor ensuring that Forsspac provide the best and most efficient services possible to our valued customers.

Project sectors include Mining, Railways, Airports, Hotels, Resorts, Casinos, High Rise Offices, Fit-outs, Residential, Recreational, Industrial, Power, Water, Gas and Drainage.
Design & Detailing
Architectural Design and Detailing services have been an integral part of our international business for many years.
Typically our client is the lead Architect on a project who sets the design direction. Forsspac then implements the design direction adding architectural detail as directed. This process leaves the lead Architect free to use his precious resources to work out the fine detailing or take on more projects enabling business expansion through outsourcing.
Forsspac is skilled at joining projects at any stage of the architectural design or detailing process from supporting the development of architectural ideas through to production of contract documents for tender or for construction.
Our extensive experience means that we are able to actively contribute to the detailing process helping our clients to produce the quality of detail required by the project brief.
Some of our International Clientele are P&T Architects, RMJM, Peck Von Hartel (PVH), Leighton Asia.
3D Architectural Models
3D Architectural Models are now a very important part of visually realising the ideas and concepts produced during the architectural design and detailing phases of a project.
As software suites advance it is now affordable to start the 3D model during the architectural design concept phase and continue the development of the model up to and including ID construction documentation.
A fully developed 3D model which includes both architectural and structural elements may be adopted directly by the MEPF designer.
The key advantage now is that the MEPF design team know exactly where all the structural and architectural elements are allowing them to produce a fully coordinated set of construction documents which facilitates control over both time and cost budgets.
A fully developed architectural 3D model can also be used as the base model to facilitate rendering options, it may also be used as the base model for animation and walk throughs.
Outsourced 3D 2D
Outsourced 3D 2D services have been provided by Forsspac since 1996 and has built up a wealth of knowledge as to how to set up an arrangement that works for both parties.
Our teams of skilled Architectural and Engineering CAD operators, both 3D and 2D, are always available to start work on your projects.
For large scale projects we are able to offer a bespoke service and can rapidly put in place a dedicated resource for your project.
Success in large scale outsourcing depends upon a number of key factors being correctly addressed during the set up:
- Board level commitment by both parties
- Proper definition of the level of service required
- Interpersonal communication is vital to keeping the process on track
- High speed communications and use of modern technology
- These principles apply equally to our range of Engineering Services
Shop Drawing Production
Shop Drawing Production is undertaken usually on behalf of the trade contractor and is the final definition of what is to be built.
Forsspac will produce the shop drawings from the Construction Drawing set provided in either 2D or 3D model format.
Reference will be made to the information and specifications provided by the Architect to ensure that the final drawings capture the original intent of the architectural design.
Shop drawings will contain more detailed information than the construction documentation set to ensure that the fabricators and installers know exactly what is required.
Shop drawings are generally signed off for build by the Engineers and Architects thereby confirming that the design intent is being carried forward to fabrication and build.
Animations & Rendering
Animations and Rendering are a vital part of an Architects work as it is the means by which the visual concept is presented to the client.
Using modern software it is now possible to readily generate a limited number of classic view points. The key benefit of using modern software is that a wide range of visual options can be generated very quickly to give the client choice.
Alternatively, whole areas can now be quickly rendered to give the client a more in depth understanding of the architectural concept(s) being offered.
Demand for animation and walk throughs is growing rapidly.
We see the demand for animation growing as a means of presenting to a wider audience the final outcome of the architectural process.
Good examples of this trend are:
- Engineering based group wanted to present to its main board how their container port would look after the electrical infrastructure had been revised to support the 25 year site lease
- CEO of manufacturing company wanted to show his work force what the new head office would look like once completed
- Resort developer wanted to be able to visualise how his resort would look when completed
As-Built Drawings MEPF (2D or 3D)
At the end of a project the owner / operator expects to find a full set of MEPF as-built drawings on record usually within the Operations & Maintenance Manual.
Unfortunately this is not always the case.
Forsspac is skilled in taking fully or partially marked up drawings from the contractors site team and producing a final set of as-built drawings. In undertaking this work Forsspac will send engineers to site to verify that the information provided is accurate, if not, they will make a new set of mark-ups.
The most common way of working is in 2D with the output being both hardcopy and soft copy in the form of .dwg files.
There are two emerging trends:
- Where it exists, take the original 3D model, often produced to LOD 300, which is then updated to LOD 500 using information from the field. Field information can be either marked up hard copy or more recently laser scanned point cloud data.
- Build a clean 3D model from field data to LOD 500
