Forest House
From the architect:
In the middle of a tall, dominated by pine trees, forest land, a new wooden house.
In its simple form and externally restrained style, it integrates into the growth of nature and gives the impression it is always there. At the same time plays the outward appearance, with slightly flaring roof and dark wood facade, with the mythologies and legends of houses in the forest (Hansel and Gretel).
Accentuates the dark building by building incision, or a few consciously placed façade openings with extra wide frame. In color contrast to the dark brown building these openings and frames are painted white. This color accents simultaneously reveal the interior, which is lined on all sides with white painted wood sheathing.
