Nidus The Nidus collection of upholstered furniture was inspired by the precise need to create a series of formal proposals with a relaxed feel, for moments of socialising and conversation in a harmonious, relaxed setting. Antonio Citterio has achieved this objective by paying great attention to structural details like the embracing shape of the curved sofas, available in two sizes. Together with the absence of arms and the high back, this solution makes it possible to bring people together in a fresh, relaxed and unusual way. This extrovert approach is also embodied by the armchairs, offered in three versions, only one of which with arms, intended as items to be arranged freely. All the Nidus pieces can be complemented by a comfy removable headrest, and have feet upholstered in the same fabric or leather as the seats, with the addition of a small metal detail at the base that is decorative and also guarantees protection against impacts.

Lucrezia The range of Maxalto sofas has been further expanded with Lucrezia, a modular system that includes traditional seating designs distinguished by a seat cushion with a band and trim or decorated with capitonn stitching. All elements with traditional seating can be custom made, while still preserving all the formal features and comfort. Covers are available in leather with dyed trim or fabric with matching trim or contrasting velvet trim.

Febo is a family of sofas and armchairs that carries with it the memory of a traditional design distinguished by a large enveloping back without armrests. The sofas come in two sizes: a smaller one with low or high seat cushion and a larger one. The family is completed by elegant armchairs distinguished by back that can be low or high or more or less enveloping. These are available in a single material, in fabric or leather, with visible blanket stitch.

Simplex The sofa with a one-piece seat is avail able in three sizes with the option of quilted stitching, both in the leather and fabric versions. Quilted stitching also graces the large armchair and ottoman. The trims and feet are available in varnished extruded aluminium: bronze, nickel and black. Simplex sofa with a one-piece seat and the ottoman are also offered with a skirt option.

Simpliciter The same features as the Simplex, the topstitched one-piece seat cushion and the feet in black painted or bronzed nickel painted aluminium, but with thinner armrests creating a lighter aesthetic. Sofa, armchair and ottoman are also proposed with a slip cover for a younger and more feminine touch.

Fulgens To the small armchair Fulgens, which has the vocation of a unique piece, able to sit next to a traditional sofa, has been added the new chair with armrests. In two finishes, shellac lacquered or in wood, which expresses the idea of handcrafted excellence. Stylistically, the piece evokes classic thonet pieces without oriental overtones, confirmed by the silky hand of the wood. The seat-back shell, externally shellac lacquered, is internally upholstered and covered in leather or fabric.

Clio Featuring a frame in brushed light or black oak, grey or brown oak, the backrest of Clio can be in the same finishes as the wood frame, upholstered in leather and fabric or with interlacing in natural cellulose rope. Further comfort is provided by the padded seat cushion and the practical and decorative pillow.

Imprimatur Sofa range proposing two different interpretations. The first, more casual solution displays a seat split into two portions and a back with cushions of different sizes. Different coloured cushions are also available if desired. The much more formal second version comes in two widths, with a regular division of seat and back cushions. The line of Imprimatur sofas is completed by two armchairs with different back heights. The whole range features a lower edge in bronzed nickel painted steel.

Caratos Chairs in two versions, armchairs, ottomans and coffee tables are the new proposals that extend the Caratos series launched last year. These new items both reflect and strengthen the original designs’ essential features while softening them by introducing embracing shapes. The light die-cast graphite or amber painted aluminium structure is retained, while padded backrests contribute to the formation of the armrests, creating seating with no postural restrictions at all, encouraging conversation and relations between neighbours. The ottomans and coffee tables echo the design of the frames and are ideal complements to the seats to create conversation areas and social settings.
